About us
The school has gone through many evolutions having trained hundreds of students since its inception, many of whom have gone on to forge successful careers as dancers, teachers and dance school business owners. The studios are based centrally in Lija, next door to JYSK furniture shop with onsite parking and a stone's throw away from the popular Pama Shopping complex.
ADULT CLASSES
Adult Beginners
We hold programmes for adult beginners in Flamenco. These classes are very popular, fun challenging and a great mental and physical workout. The highlight is participating in our annual performance on stage and SDS dance exam. Class fee is 120 euro a term and is one hour duration once a week.
CLASSES (3-4 YEARS OLD)
Begin your Journey
We begin our Ballet journey from 3 to 4 years old. Children learn the fundamentals of Ballet in a structured yet fun environment focusing on spatial awarness, musicality and learning classroom ettiquette preparing them for more structured training in the primary and higher grades. Class fee is 90 euro a term and is of one hour duration once a week.

Formal Learning
The Deborah McNamara School of Dance is licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) as a further education centre offering courses ranging from MQF Level 1 to MQF Level 4 (licence number 2024-004). The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is the national accrediting agency for the development, assessment, certification and accreditation of qualifications.
