Open Ballet
Nina began her dancing career at the age of 5 at her local school in Ayrshire, Scotland, she was later accepted onto The Scottish Ballet's junior associate programme, appearingin productions including The Nutcracker. Nina successfully auditioned for The Royal Ballet Junior School, White Lodge, and completed her dance training at Elmhurst Ballet School, where she studied Classical ballet RAD/ Cecchetti, Spanish SDS, Contemporary, Modern and Tap ISTD, and Jazz. After being awarded Most Promising Dancer and Best Classical ,she graduated from Elmhurst, and went straight into Adonais Dance Company, performing in the U.K for several yearsbefore being invited to Malta by Ms Deborah McNamara and Sherril Wexler ,to teach SDS and appear in The Malta Arts Festival.
Nina made Malta her home, and has since performed in many performances on the island and abroad with local dance companies &schools. She holds L.I.S. T.D, A.R.A.D. & Idb 1 qualifications and has been head of dance faculties in localschools, training dancers who have consistently obtained excellent result internationally recognised dance examinations. Nina has extensive choreographic experience and has also created original ballets including, Scrooge, Princess and The Pea, and Aladdin. Nina's ethos isto develop students confidence, abilities, passion, and dedication for dance in a creative, supportive environment aiming and encouraging each student to be the very best they can be, to push their self beliefs, and explore their personal unique ability
